Sounds like you have a piston that's slapping around. You should get a bore scope and inspect each cylinder for wear. From my experience, rod knock is always constant.

Get rid of that dog sh!t radiator cap and put the OEM one back on. Wash the engine bay and monitor for leaks after that or put a cooling system pressure tester on it and monitor for leaks that way....
