And who effing cares about the puppy? Obama doesn't tell the media which stories to run. You may not agree with him on everything, I don't, but give him more than a few months to solve all the problems he inherited.
IMO most people didn't vote for him because of his skin color, they voted for him because they thought he was the best choice, and a few months is not enough time to see how his decisions pan out. In business it's common to say "you've got to spend money to make money." Do you think our financial system would have righted itself in a short time without some sort of government intervention? I don't. And if Obama hadn't done anything at all the same shrill whiners would be bitching and moaning about his lack of effort to fix the economy. Since we seem to have so many economist Nobel winners in here, about about you throw out some legitimate suggestions?

Dude + rep for you. I wasn't going to touch this because it seemed way to troll-ish for me but you pretty much summed up exactly how I feel. BTW I can't buy any ammo either. You have to get to sportsman's warehouse on the day of the shipment in the morning and there are already crazed scared people lining up to buy it all up. So frustrating!
+ rep to Liftedcracker too. I jump in too quick when it comes to these conversations and many times kill the thread with my opinions so its nice to see some others out there with interest in rationality and legitimate research before jumping on the condemning bandwagon.
