I find it annoying to have a big zoom lens (100mm+) without the ability to frame the shot myself. So the 135mm prime lens would bother me. I would recommend

I find it annoying to have a big zoom lens (100mm+) without the ability to frame the shot myself. So the 135mm prime lens would bother me. I would recommend the 70-300mm Canon lens. They make it in an L version now but that's not worth it considering the non-L 70-300 has a UD lens element which pretty much makes it L quality.
In the end it's up to your needs, but that's my take on the big zoomers.
