Default Porsche Photoshoot November '11

I was recently able to lock in a deal with my porsche client to shoot (or re-shoot in some cases) his entire collection of cars after presenting him with the coffee table book I made from the 599 GTO shoot Kyle and I did a few months back. As part of that, we got started a couple weeks ago during the week of Thanksgiving. We also added an extra member to our "crew" named Zak who does professional video. I will post his videos of each car once they go live! Seen here are the 924 Carrera GT race car, the 968 Turbo RS Cup car and the Lowenbrau 962, the 962 being one of (if not the) winningest race cars ever remaining competitive for close to 10 years and winning multiple Le Mans races driven by Al Holbert and his team.

fav's:

1. the 924 Carrera GT

2. good view of the fiberglass wide body kit and steamrollers they called tires, the vents on the wheels blow air in to cool the brakes

3. the 962's steering wheel and exposed linkage shifter, reminds me of the Spyker's just not as pretty (but still cool!)

4. according to wikipedia, this 2.0L race built 4 cylinder makes 375hp... in 1980 o_O

5. basking in the soft glow of the overcast sky outside the hangar, the 962 has unique curves and angles

6. this is one of four 968 Turbo RS Cup cars made, this particular one was the only one to race (and win in it's class) in a Le Mans race

7. clam shell doors are the 962's "show stopper"

8. also shot a super clean 930 turbo on Ruf wheels

there are over 100 shots in the album with lots of "behind the scenes" pics as well so check it out! as always, thanks for looking and be sure to leave a comment!
