I shoot prime. I love my 24mm 1.4g and 85mm 1.4g. They both super sharp and fast. Pair with the D750's most advanced auto focus system to date, they are amazing at night. I literally can hand hold the camera and shoot under the moon light with low iso. Both lenses are excellent for wedding and portrait. The 85mm f1.4 is bokehlicious! The 24mm f1.4 is sharp corner to corner. Great for landscape too. The only complaint I have on my 24mm is the distortion. But most wide angle lenses have that problem. It can be easily fixed in the post editing.

With the lenses you have I would definitely recommend the 85mm f1.4. Either D or G. They both awesome. Another lens I would consider is the 70-200mm f2.8 VR II. I read good review on it. But 85mm beats the 70-200mm on image quality at 85mm f2.8.
