Switching to the 5D Miii from the 7D was ridiculous as far as the possibilities it opened up for me. For example, I just shot a wedding that was at night and the 5D never missed a shot, whereas my 7D backup camera had a really difficult time focusing and the noise at 1600 ISO vs the 5D was almost unacceptable and I'd never give clients files that crappy. I find myself shooting at 1600-2000 ISO and the shots being pretty much perfect after a light noise reduction in post. I'm sure the Nikon equivalents will be just as substantial a difference whether you choose the 750 or 810.
