Beautiful shots, MJB. What are the pic parameters of the last duck shot? I bet you were close to it?

Nice stuff, Mr. LunaZ -- retro 60's model look. I also saw your FB stuff from a show. Impressive.
|
Thanks, Mr. onzedge!
That Sassoon guy has left a lasting impression on everyone who ever picks up a pair of shears. I'm starting to get the hang of putting the light where I want it. |
What is it with these chicks and the boy haircuts sheesh

The short cut seemed to get really trendy again this past year when various actresses chopped all their hair off. I know I'd hit Keira Knightley in a second! For me, short haircuts are technically more interesting than longer shapes. I do plenty of long hair at shows and on the road, but I don't get any "studio" time with them and they're not shots I would post in this thread. I've tried to get some long hair models around my town, but none of them are up for anything interesting with their hair colour. And since that's my specialty... I can get plenty of long blonde haired chicks that think they should be in Maxim or Playboy to pose for me, but that's just not the kind of work I'm looking for. |
LOL, Gotcha.
Well, I'm a fan of long hair...the longer the better! Can't even give a second look to gals with hair that short wow. |
I don't necessarily like short hair better, but I think it can look good on hot girls (like this model here or Keira Knightley). While long hair works well for any girl.

Yeah... I finally got to see one in person! Festivals of Speed was yesterday and it was awesomwe! I'm too lazy to upload them to my Flickr and post them, but they are on my FB for whomever is friends with me on there.

I need a good point and shoot camera. I go to a lot of car events, and lugging the DSLR around gets cumbersome. I'm looking for something compact, but has some manual setting features, and takes good shots, with good glass. Asking a lot for a point and shoot I know. I'd prefer to stick with a Canon model as I'm partial to them.
Anyone have suggestions? I looked at the S100 yesterday and liked it, but of course can't tell how good the pictures are looking at it at Best Buy. Seemed pricey at $449 as well. There was an ELPH 300 that was about $150 that looked interesting as well. Suggestions? |

Just pulled the trigger on the Canon S100. We'll see how I like it. Got a large car event coming up next weekend and it'll get a good workout.

Another wrapped vehicle in our caravan. Facebook really kills the quality, but I'm too lazy to upload to my Flickr.
