i downloaded a free app from droid market called DofF calculator. it's a handy tool for me cause im still not familiar how focal length plays with DOF.

Lol I pretty much have no clue either, I wing it Earlier I stated how I went out shooting yesterday and came home uninspired and empty handed. Ken, you said something like "at your level Im sure you cant just shoot anything" or something like that. I have no level, you really probably have a better grasp on photography then me at this point. I just have a good eye and usually shoot and adjust till I get it right. I wish I had a better grasp on how it all works.

Well you have natural talent then cause your picts have hell of a lot more character than mine.

I'm trying to learn the technical side first like learning the scale on a piano. Next comes Mary had a little goat (my version)
