So I need some opinions. My girlfriend loves the beach, and this is a place that she calls her 2nd home. I went looking back through all my pictures and its the best I can find of it. I personally don't like the sign there but it does state where the place is. I also wish I would have been looser on the crop on the original picture... But this was back in 2009 and the beach is 6 hours away.

My question is, what does everyone think of this crop? I was planning to have it printed and framed as a 10x30 canvas.

There is also a 12x24, bit smaller but different ratio which would allow for some more sky and a little more sand.

Oh, and I plan for it to be a Christmas present.

i think it's fine the way it is honestly, it would be too obvious if you tried to get rid of it i think. too much real estate on the image with a lot going on in the background

I like that pic as well. The sign kinda sucks there but whatever. NIce shot. Itll make a great present:tup:

Yea, no doubt.. I thought about it for like.. 2 seconds and then just told myself no.. She knows that sign is suppose to be there... haha.

Also, some food for thought...

What do yall think about that picture as 3 10x10's instead of a 10x30? I didn't originally want to do that but the more I get to thinking about it the more I might like it.

When I get home from work I may photoshop that.

HKYStormFront 12-12-2011 02:34 PM

3 10x10's would be awesome! seems like those are getting really trendy for pano's!

I think that could be pretty sweet. My GF has been asking me to pic an image that we can print large and split into two shots.

Here's a quick shot I grabbed of an R8 I was supposed to shoot earlier this week. Weather hasn't been on our side, maybe tomorrow.
