Equalme has been very forthcoming about the fact that this isn't his main job and that he is unable to provide the level of customer service that a full shop can provide. But he is keen to make sure the finish is perfect for shipping, and he is quick to offer refunds for unsatisfied customers even though most of them just seem to be impatient tools who didn't do their research first. I would not hesitate to use his service, but I would go in knowing that delays are very possible and that the final product will be top notch.

Speaking from experience as someone that missed the paypal dispute deadline, Anthony will make it right; It might take until the weather is warm again, but he'll get you your goods.

Just ... don't miss the dispute deadline if he does go cold turkey..

edit: forgot to add he's really busy at times... so his replies will vary vastly week to week.

Wrong. I just happen to know that he has satisfied way more customers than the few people who aren't patient enough to wait for a guy who is not a vendor and does kick a$$ work in his spare time.

I didn't get any notifications in my e-mail regarding receiving a PM or that there were active posts in this thread. I don't frequent this forum often as I don't own a 370z anymore.

The air compressor in the spray booth that I rent is and still is down for repair/replacement. The owner decided to just upgrade the entire booth and compressor which is why it is taking so long. I had tried to source out other places to rent out a booth but with no luck. Apparently it is a liability issue.

I also tried spraying with a smaller air compressor at home but that didn't make the cut. Motor ran too much causing the tank to heat up, thus water droplets getting into the spray = fish eye.

None the less, I did see the Paypal dispute claim and it should be resolved soon pending Paypals side of completion.

Sorry for the troubles and missing the deadline for your show.

Everybody else, thanks for continuing to support me!

It always kind of varies. If a person gets an order in right before I head to the spray booth...well they'll get their order within a weeks period.

With the fluctuation of my work and personal schedule, on top of the spray booth being out of service, I've not taken on any orders for the past two months.

For now, I'm only going to post up once I have said handles done. Magnetic black is the most requested color so I will be spraying them in batches and post up availability once 100% completed and boxed up. Other colors I will need to take pre-payment as it is harder for me to sell if the buyer decides to back out.

So I finally got my car back from the Dealership and installed these last weekend.

For those who want to know why my car was there so long

I know color matching paint is difficult so I didn't expect these to be dead on, but they're a bit darker than expected. That being said, it does look a lot better than the flat black or the stock silver.

Oddly the passenger side looks a shade darker.

as you can see, it's only something you notice depending on how the light reflects off of it. I'm assuming these will fade a bit with some sun exposure and will be a better match over time.

Unfortunately that's not the case, did you not have thepainter match a swatch up to the car? I'm getting mine done now and I had 3 variable options for my paint. My mag black Z and Daytona blue 350z we did the same thing and it was dead on.

There is other variables as well, like your paint sprayed on a black base coat verse say a whitebase coat.

I want my handles black but don't want to take them off. would they still be able to be painted? I'm not sure I like wrap because it would peal before to long. the covers suck cause the button would still be silver.

Back from the dead!

Moved to Kansas City a few months ago and just found the box of the handles I had packed away. I have SIX pairs of handles that I will be spraying Magnetic Black and will sell them outright, no core swap as I am not offering this service anymore.

Price is $300 shipped - Magnetic Black and you keep your old handles.

It is still currently near freezing temperatures here in Kansas City so I am anticipating these will be ready to ship mid May after I come back from the Toyota Jamboree event and it should warm up by then.
