The 1.85 update is very insignificant for most of the US. There are only a few highways that use Speedinfo and if you rather pay $500 for a new unit that only has that in it, you're more than welcome to pass up on this deal. If those highways are not near you, this is still a great deal for its actual purpose. In addition, by turning TFM feature on for Speedinfo highways, you disable K-band radar detection. It's a catch 22 which I'd prefer to not have and save $200.

Still available? I'm in between about getting a v1 or a 9500... Do you happen to have a blend mount that would be for sale separate?

Don't get a blend mount. Waste of money. Mount it above your rearview mirror and hardware it and run a tint band so it cant be seen from the outside. And this is a great deal, I've had my 1.8 version for years and love it.

Agreed on Blend Mount.

If you want a really nice mount thats not very pricey, I highly recommend this. I've had this for about a year and its FLAWLESS

I've used blend mounts on several cars and never had a problem. There's other options out there, but I wouldn't call it a waste of money.

On the windshield where you have your limo tint strip with the suction cups. Just above the rearview mirror...
