Default FS: 2 Sheets Second Skin Luxury Liner Pro

Just realized I bought too much Luxury Liner Pro so I have some extra to sell. These are 2 sheets (9 Square Feet each) just got them last week, never used. I'm looking for $35 each + shipping. You can buy 1 sheet if you want, I don't have to sell them together.

I'd rather not go through the hassle of shipping so local pickup preferred in Houston, TX. I can also drive to Dallas and deliver to you if you're in Dallas. I'd be willing to drive to other parts of Texas within reason.

Luxury Liner - Acoustic Noise Barrier and Insulation Barrier

This stuff is high quality and works quite well.

Send me a PM if interested.

Here are some specs from their site:

Sheet size = 24" x 54" (9 sq. feet)
Thickness = between 1/4" -3/8" (.250" .375")
Mass/Area = 1.2 lbs. per sq foot
Total weight per sheet = 10.80 lbs. per sheet

Sold!

Interested.

How much can I get done with 18 sqft? Is that enough to get a reasonable portion of the hatch area? Also, do I just lay this stuff in there or is there more to installation than that?

Also, what part of Houston are you? I'll be in town this weekend.

I honestly only used 1 sheet for the hatch but I didn't fill everything. Just the main trunk floor and some on the wheel wells. It's kind of tough to lay all of it down because it's so thick. I have 1 more sheet I'm keeping that I want to use under the seats or in spots I might have missed.

1 sheet would probably be enough to fill most of the spots you need. Maybe another half sheet would do everything.

You have to use some sort of adhesive to lay it down. I bought the spray adhesive from the second skin site. I have no use for it after I'm done using the last sheet so you can have it if you want. I just don't know if I'll have time to use it before this weekend.

I'm in southwest houston, by sugar land.

These are still available. If I can finish my stuff this weekend, I'll throw in a can of the spray adhesive if the buyer needs it.

Hrm, I'm kind of interested, I'm in Dallas however. I wish I had known about this when I was down in Houston two weeks ago lol.

how much of a difference did it make? did it cut down on that awful freeway noise from the tires or the rock noises from road debris?

It cuts down on road noise a lot. It's hard to really quantify unless you hear the difference yourself. Now all I hear is the exhaust but it's not quite as quiet as I want so I I'm planning to do the doors and possibly under the seats.
