GT Hay's Miestershaft Stainless Cat-Back and Spoler

I do have an honest yet possibly stupid question. Why do the Miestershaft exhaust tips have a weird piece in the center of them on the inside? It reminds me of the skin that's on the bottom of your tongue.

Could be wrong but I believe its to adjust the tip placement.

GT Haus says it's for sound tuning.

They don't have anything to do with adjustment. You adjust the tips via rotating the arms where they attach to the muffler.

But yes, this exhaust is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't be happier with anything else.

I just can't get over how strange the tips look with the divider and plus the tips are relatively small. The Motordyne is my dream exhaust for my 370.

The nismo tips for the GT Haus are huge at 130mm. I actually have motordyne tips on the exhaust right now, but have titanium GT haus nismo tips in my room. I can post pics of both if you'd like but I don't want to hijack the thread, or keep it too revived if the item is sold. PM me if you'd like to see.
