Cool NEED HELP - shift knob finisher/spacer!!

Hey guys, so I just installed my new shift knob and there's about a 1.5 inch gap space that i want to fill. Anyone know where I can look for a shift knob finisher/spacer that'll fit for my shift knob? Or if anyone has one that they don't need or want to sell that can kindly offer to me that'll be awesome!!

Also, is there a way that you can move the boot higher?

Thanks!!

What he said! Get a short piece of the black foam pipe insulation to use as a spacer. It has a slit in it so you don't even need to remove the knob; just slip it over the shaft underneath the boot. Cut it so it raises the boot up to meet the knob so no spacer on top is needed. I had some houses under construction in my neighborhood so I got my scrap piece for free.

You could put 2 zip ties under the boot to hold it up, I had the same problem but I just wrapped a thick hair band under the shift boot to keep it up, it works pretty good and it's not visible.

I had this same problem. I went to Home Depot and bought a wide washer to place on the bottom then also got a copper pipe .5 inch to .75 inch size reducer. Then used a pipe cutter to cut it to the right length. A little paint and you can't even tell it's not stock. Let me know if you would like a visual

No need to be fancy here. I used a spray bottleneck cut to proper length. Worked like a charm. Creases are all even. Zero issue whatsoever. Hose is common as I suggested.
