NISMO Racing Radiator Cap maintains a higher internal pressure for the cooling system and is rated at 1.3kg/cm (18.2lbs) compared to Nissan's OEM radiator caps that are rated at 0.9kg/cm (12.6lbs) and 1.2kg/cm (16.8lbs) for turbo vehicles. The Nismo Radiator Cap is able to hold at a higher pressure compared to the OEM caps which results in improved cooling capacity. It prevents the coolant from boiling and vaporizing easily (the boiling point is approximately 6C higher than the standard cap's 0.9kg/cm2 threshold) and improves cooling efficiency.
