Uprev cable brand new in box no license

Hey guys, so a while back I bought an uprev cable on here for $125 and I thought I would use it but turns out I don't need it. Instead of charging up the price because apparently they go for $250 new and I purchased it for $125 I'm only asking for $150 shipped. I added the $25 because your boy would like to buy himself some lunch after I ship the item haha

The previous owner of my car tuned the car with UpRev. If I buy this cable, will it work? Basically I'm asking if the license stays with car.

I do not know honestly. When I purchased the cable I was told that I needed to buy a license to use the cable. I'm not really sure how that all works if your car is already tuned. Maybe someone else in the forum can chime in and help find an answer or if you know someone that knows how to tune

License stays with the car. The cable will allow you to view all the different parameters of the car but you cannot alter the tune with it though.
