Question Megan Coilovers

Hey guys,

I just bought an 02 accord to help when for the really bad winter days. The suspension is ok but it will need replacing soon. I was looking at the prices to replace for OEM suspension and it looks like it might be around 500-600 buck for the whole assembly. I'm not sure if i do need a full assembly yet, maybe just the shocks. which are cheaper.

On my research i found some megan coilovers Megan Racing EZ Street Coilovers Honda Accord (2008-2012) MR-CDK-HA08-EZ
for $600 shipped...I know this is a Z community but some of you know about good and bad coil over brands...what do you guys think about this megan coilovers or is there any other brand (on a budget) that you can recommend for either full coilover or just shocks? or is it just better to stay OEM?

Thanks

if you're looking to just lower it those will work fine, as far as improvements over stock handling/ride wise... you won't have much with those

Thanks I saw that they lower .5-2.0" which I really would only go the .5" since it won't be and improvement over OE I guess it's better to buy OEM then ...I'm sure those will last longer too?

I see $699 shipped (I only care because I want to see if I can cut the cost for you a bit)

megan's some taiwanese brand who apparently twisted "Mugen" to come up with their name.

i suggest getting kw or bilstein for winter dd coilovers. at least they come corrosion protected. or just get stock or stock substitute aftermarket .
