Nissan 370Z Forum

Sad day. So long Z, it's been great.

Good choice on the C7. Thinking about a Z51 2LT. Local purchase for the C7? Trade or private sale?

I tried local but they didn't return my calls, emails etc and I heard really low allocation. Going through a dealer in Toronto. Just getting a base 1LT. I really don't need a head up display, and all the bells and whistles. It'll never see the track. I'm a minimalist when it comes to creature comforts and the base cabin is well equipped.

I sold my Z back to the local dealer. The dealer in Toronto didn't really want to give me a solid price on the Z since it was site unseen and 2000 kms away. I can understand that. I would have had to take the chance and drive it to Toronto when the C7 arrives and hope for the best. Didn't want to take that chance. I got a very fair dollar value for the Z and I'm happy with
it. I'll have about 85-90% of the cost ready to go when the C7 finally arrives. I'm in no hurry really and I'll likely get a 2015 anyway since the 2014 allocation is just about taken care of. The thing that helps my situation is my order doesn't contain any of the constraints like carbon fiber dash, CF roof etc. If I keep saving I might change to a 2015 Z06, I don't want to finance very much if any for a toy.
