First reason, The supercharged ZL-! is still a street car with track capability. The Z/28 is a NA track car that is street legal. They appeal to 2 different levels of enthusiast and both are made in limited numbers. Second thing is, there's 2 model years left to the Camaro 5. When the Alpha platform comes in for the Camaro. The ZL-1 and Z/28 may disappear till 2/3 in again or, The ZL1 will die while the Z/28 lives on in limited numbers. Chevy always plays musical monikers when it comes to Camaro models. Not too big o deal. That said. I just want to see a much improved Camaro throughout the range.
