I don't think the new M3 keeps its V8. So a high output 3.65TT could be put in the ATS to make an ATS-V and compete with ti. The new CTS-V will still compete with the M5, so it will have a V8....question is will it have a blower and be based on the new engine in the C7 vette? If so then the new ZR-1 will have to get a blower and be about 100 HP more than then new V, which is what we have today. My V has 556 HP and the ZR-1 has 650 or so I think.

The real bastard in this affair is the ZL-1, what happens to that? The Z-28 may push it out.

Its a great time for cars now, I hope younger people appreciate the choices we have now....after getting my engineering degree in 86.....we had crappy cars...in fact the GT Stang back then had all of 185 HP from a V8. The 70's and 80's into the early 90's were bad car years....very bad. Stickers, fake scoops, weak engines.....yadayada...

I believe the ZR-1 is 638hp, which is about 82hp more than the CTS-V. As far as the ZL-1 and Z28. I don't see there being too much of an issue.

First reason, The supercharged ZL-! is still a street car with track capability.
The Z/28 is a NA track car that is street legal. They appeal to 2 different levels of enthusiast and both are made in limited numbers.
Second thing is, there's 2 model years left to the Camaro 5. When the Alpha platform comes in for the Camaro. The ZL-1 and Z/28 may disappear till 2/3 in again or, The ZL1 will die while the Z/28 lives on in limited numbers. Chevy always plays musical monikers when it comes to Camaro models. Not too big o deal. That said. I just want to see a much improved Camaro throughout the range.

Fixed. And maybe make it possible to see out of it? Those were the two major gripes I had about the car.
