47k miles 6yrs, barely washed through the years in salty snow belt state. :icon17: hahaha.

lessons learned from it, i dab a thin coat of motor oil on metal bits on my '12 just before winter, and wash the engine bay in the spring. no such corrosion on that car. :D

kenchan 06-18-2014 10:59 AM

:ugh: i noticed rust in the passenger side rear quarter arch last night on my 09...

i should seriously talk to my wife about replacing that car...

Waiz 06-19-2014 11:35 AM

You have problems that I don't have to face every year :(

My biggest problem is spiders in my driveway :icon17:

:icon18: spiders, huh? hahahaha. i hate it when they get inside the side mirrors. i just wait until dusk and when they come out WACK!

crap, i forgot to grind that rust off the rear arch.

was telling the wife i should look for a new car for her. i might check out that versa note since it's a lot cheaper than the 13 GE's... and my wife wont be able to tell the difference. :rofl2: ive been wanting to get a c class (benz) for her, but she
keeps saying she does NOT want anything expensive and need a hatch.

my wife's fine with the rusting 09. :rofl2:

her comment was that since she can careless about cars, i can use
the money already saved up for the 09's replacement on my next dd. :p

...but the catch is, it must be a AT.

cause her plan is i drive for 3-4yrs, and she will then drive it as a hand me down when im tired of the car. :icon17:
hahaha... woh.. :ugh2: and you guys know i dont like driving AT...

kenchan 06-30-2014 01:34 PM

I need to do a tranny/coolant flush next oil change too

On a side note, I was hoping to have my pics ready from my Apex-i throttle controller up by now but the LCD that I ordered for my computer was the wrong size since the seller is an idiot and sent me the wrong thing

I hope to have a new one in a week or so, been meaning to share my install pics and do a review :shakes head:
