I ride a bike and this guy did nothing wrong. I also ride the white line to give an extra buffer and it looked like the white car was gonna cut him off. The cop seemed very scared and the "I can write you a shitload of tickets" was clearly a cop-out since he's the one that wanted no problems and just have the situation disappear. The person that does the rear-ending is always at fault. This idiot biker coulda had a decent outcome if he went with getting the tickets and then called the Law-Tigers.

Hopefully he took this video to his superiors. That's just absurd behavior by the officer.

That's what I was taught in Driver Ed and several defensive driving courses. If you run into the back of someone, you were following too close for conditions.

That's hilarious.

:iagree:
What a psych game the COP played on the MC driver. He was so wrong, There is no rhyme or reason for him rear-ending him or anyone. If you REAR END someone it's cuz you're driving TOO CLOSE, period. Then the OFFICER is using foul language and making unnecessary threats of ticket writing which is CLEARLY an ABUSE of POWER.

But this is what we have to PRETEND we don't go through. But it's all right here on film.:ugh2:

This is really making a big deal out of nothing. With all the shyt a lot of bikers do, I'm still siding with the police on this one. Who knew bikers were a bunch of babies. How about this biker post the rest of his videos. I seriously doubt he follows every word of the law. It also looks like the biker clearly stops abruptly to cause the cop car to hit him. That other car switching lanes was pretty far off...not enough of a reason for the biker to come to a complete stop. He has over a car lenght between that white car to his left that's signaling. The guy on the bike slammed on the brake on purpose. He could have easily slowed down and let that white camry in much earlier.

Don't get me wrong, the cop was being kind of a **** too.

Not true to any degree of the law whatsoever. It's just easier to prove someone following too close, but it's not always that persons fault. Slamming your brakes in the middle of moving traffic on purpose for example, means you still caused the accident even though you're the one who got rear ended. It's called a swoop and squat and a reason why you see a lot of people in Russia with dash cams.

Motorcycles, I stay 3 car lengths away on the street, I completely avoid being behind one on the highway. If I have to be... 5 or more car lengths.

speculation of what the biker probably drives like is irrelevant. Regardless of how close or far traffic was ahead of the motorcycle. It is the car directly in front of you you need to watch out for.

If this guy was riding too slow in traffic? Why didn't the officer pull him over and question him? The whole russia cam thing. It's not just for rear ending. People jump on cars and claim they were hit etc... There's just an epidemic of insurance fraud in Russia. while purposely getting rear ended in a car may have financial benefit. Getting hit while on a motorcycle on purpose, sounds very risky and dangerous, even at low speeds.

Even with all the rational sounding excuses you made. I can't see how this should've even happened at such low speeds if paying attention to whats in front of you.

STILL no need for the badge to curse at the civilian. No matter how upset he got. He's supposed to be a community example.

Something is wrong. Someone got their bike rear-ended and did not blow up at the person doing it, and happened to have a camera on them. I don't care what costume you are wearing when you hit my vehicle by doing something totally stupid, I am going to ask you WTF?! if you rear-end me. I'm damn sure not going to "No problems" and let you drive off. There is more to this story. Has to be.
