What's up people's... (in case there are any ladies driving these lovely machines) just stopping through to say what up and admire the mods, and learn a few things... like a few of my comrades from my7thgen.org - Official Home Of The 7th Generation Maxima, I am looking for a set of the 19" Rays for "Notorious" (my 2010 Maxima)... But gotta spread love it's the BK way... I adore the 370 though... I test drove one when my 2008 Max was in the shop... And got her sideways immeadiately... You should have seen the look on the salesman face... He was cool though... I knew him for awhile.. Anyway I will be around...

Welcome. It's gonna be tough finding a set (or two) for a square setup. I've seen a set on a maxima a while back and they do look pretty good. What I havn't seen are the Nismo wheels...just food for thought.

Id be willing to get rid of mine...under 600 miles so like brand new....

Man, I hadn't really even noticed the difference till you pointed it out and I could compare them... So do those actually come on the Nismo Z, and the rays on a sport package?

Correct, those are the ones specific to the Nismo Z. The 2013 Rays from the sports package are also a bit different.

I like your choice of Silver exterior over black leather interior - - - do u have the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel ? I enjoy driving this car in manual mode

just a few updates...since i am always lurking..the 370 forum wishing my car was a 370 but its not..but i have gotton some pretty damn good ideas so thanks...recent mods..next up is the Akebono Stoptech brake kit..or trying to find a way to get a 380mm rotor on the front...yeah right..lol

My Wife has an 11 Maxima, the bluish green color. I love the car. But if my wheels are ever stolen, I'm sure I wouldn't have to look far. She wants to jack them.

:bowrofl: Maximas are ehh, the sedans a lil boxy for my liking, and that thing it about being sedan version of the Z. PSHHHHH not even close. :tup:

It's definitely a sporting car. Faster than the numbers say. The CVT takes a sec to peg, but when it does, it really starts eating up asphalt. Both have hips, @ss, stylized lights and rides firmer than the run of the mill cars. It's no 370Z, but it's a good compromise when baby's become the best worst surprise. Nissan figured they had a good design and now we see it on the Sentra and Altima. You need a sedan with serious stones to keep up with it.

IDK, still prefer the Maxima, especially with the 19's and blacked out front lights. Just like every other manufacturer, they are trying to unify their lineup. Problem is, by making them all look the same, they are sapping the life out of them. I have to take a hard look to figure out if something is an Altima or Sentra from a distance. At least I can tell what a Maxima is, car looks like it runs on red beans and rice.

But at the end of the day its what you need out of the car and at what time in your life. SO that dictates a lot of things. As I get older I can see myself getting a Maxima....right now. NO WAY!!! :rofl2:

Motortrend has a small article on the 13' Max. Most of the criticism is on the prics and the Altima overlap. When factoring in incentives, it is a much better bargain.

Yea I just saw that... They about to change the body style next year... If an individual is contemplating the purchase of a new car this year, I would recommend the Altima... Next year the Max body changing... Suppose to be similar to this...

hood looks too stumpy and the trunk looks too small.The rest isn't a revelation as that's what the current car would look like if it F*cked an Altima.

Hey, I love the Maxima, I had a 2009 (RIP) and it was a great and REALLY quick car!!!
2 questions:

Do you have your OEM wheels?
Do you want a Stillen underdrive pulley with new belt?

Definitely carries on the theme of the new Altima . . . Nissan has established itself, along w/ Infiniti, as great design-oriented car companies in the past 5 years. Very beautiful cars .

Now, if they could only get the paint right!
