I'm just saying that the zl1 has posted a better official time at vir than the gtr.

while there is something to be said for that, that's just like saying that one drag strip time at one course is equivalent to another track's. you can't. temps, prep, humidity... all of these things come into play when you talk about drag times. the same goes for track days. if chevrolet really wanted to prove the ZL1 was faster, they should have had a GTR on site that day to compare to. i don't think that's what they were going for at all. i think they just wanted to post an impressive time. in that regard, they succeeded. that's a very impressive time.

to draw any conclusions from this other than that is simply foolish.
