Nope Mustang pretty much sucks major a$& in handling department. Don't have to look much further than Solo Nationals results for Ford porkers to see all that handling. Lol! |

Guess I've got to sell mine then and get a NISMO since it can't handle.

Gotta love the people who claim knowledge of a car without having driven one. If you think the GT500 cannot handle you've either never driven one OR...you lack any type of performance driving skills. Is it the best handling car out there NO...of course not however, can it handle and handle well? YES.
Also, for the record, the GTR is a faster car in ALL areas. I own a GT500 and I have no problem admitting that the GTR will beat my car from 0-60, 1/4 mile, and on a road course. ZL-1? I like them a lot, great car and it will beat the GT500 in some areas just as the GT500 will beat it in others. The way I see it...buy the car you enjoy, there's always something faster. |

I just wish my trolling/douche/fanboy skills would make my [insert whatever car I am driving today] superior to all. Guess I don't have it in me.

Glad I drove my S2000 today. I don't think my 5.0 could have handled the commute. Too dangerous to drive!

because we all know that the Race Cars are the same as the street car
All parts, 100% the same  |

Oh but I am a fan, and I also know that the 370 lost the lead at the start of the race.
And I also know the times for all of the cars are very close in that series. Hardly great enough to say one car handles better than another after one result. |
Clean thread. Imagine that!

I was about to post that this thread has totally run it's predicable course, and then I saw your post. Made me chuckle. It's thread's like this that prove that grown men never really grow up. Boys will be boys. You're stupid. No you're stupid. No your stupid.... Geesh. :icon14: chris410's post was the final true word for me of the whole thing. Quote:

So my biggest thing is, I want to hear the exhaust note, and not through speakers. Is there supercharger whine? |
It's a maturity thing...I've driven some exotics, raced motorcycles for several years, and owned some high HP cars including a 720RWHP Supra I built/tuned myself. Personally, I'm not a brand fanatic, I can appreciate a nice car and I have no problem giving credit where credit is due. I've been fortunate to drive cars that focus on handling and cars that will snap your neck if you don't pin yourself against the seat and one thing is clear, each car no matter how fast offers something different. Again, the saying goes on and on like a broken record but yeah...there's always a faster car and in a lot of cases SOMEONE faster.
When I see people going on about how their car is the greatest I tend to avoid them. The driver's attitude is really what will prompt me to talk to someone about their car or ignore them. Hell, I'm happy to see the car companies building sports cars again! The kids that like to bash or figure out ways to convince themselves that their car is the greatest will eventually learn the "real" lesson when it comes to driving. Now, when it comes to racing, that's a different ball game all together. |
