Ford Racing M-9424-M50BR - Ford Racing Boss 302R 5.0L Modular Intake Manifolds - Overview - SummitRacing.com
Incase anyone is looking at the BOSS MANIFOLD on sale 319.99 |
^ Thanks GZ3... can you tell me how much this improves our stock 5.0 setup?
|
its mainly intended for the higher RPMS where the stock falls flat....at about 6600 or so the HP gains SKYROCKET! But through tunning they have adjusted and made gains every where..not much, but gains are gains. The loss of tq down low has been addressed through tunning.... but like i said when you hit 6600 or so and with a 7500redline like i have set, its all benefit...i mean the gains are like some in the range of 50-70rwhp!

There is no 'one' forum for info for the Mustang.
This is a good tech forum, they do not tolerate stupid sh*t: WWW.S197FORUM.COM - Powered by vBulletin Mustangsource/forum/etc. are good for general info on the car or gather ideas for the car. |

i'd leave the Boss mani alone for now, i've read about many cases where guys have actually had a slower trap and worse ET after installing one.

The only way I'd see it slowing you down is if there is a leak somewhere. |
Or if you're short shifting every gear....
|
Has anyone been looking at wheels and tires for their 5.0 yet?
|
I have looked around a bit. At some point I might get Forgestar F14s with RE11s or Pilot Super Sports. I will probably still be rocking the OEM Brembo wheels next spring, only with Pilot Super Sports in 275/35 replacing the PZeros.

He just knows the longer he takes to decide the more I'll get pissed off. Eventually I will buy new FRPP Sports just to shut him up.

I am really annoyed with my X pipe leak, but I don't want to spend $400 right now on one that fits. I am trying to think of some ways to fix it that aren't expensive. :icon17:

Nah, I was going to but realized the C clamps were rusted pretty badly and I'd likely break the bolts if I tried to loosen them to do a temporary fix with silicon gasket maker, so I need to order some new clamps.
I may just order new clamps and stick the H pipe back on for a change up in the sound, then buy a new X pipe after the winter. I love the way the X sounds, though. |

I can't remember if our mid pipes are 2.5" or 3" diameter.

I think I actually prefer the stock tone to the gt500...and definitely like the rolled tip.
wtf happened to roush pricing though? went from like $370 to $500 |

damn, if you wanna keep rocking pzeros this is a pretty solid deal
Mustang OEM Wheel and Tire, for 19-inch Brembo Brake GT (Take Off) |
That is a great deal.
|
if you can sell your stock rims for anything or need winter rims, hard to argue with.
