Altima's have a lot of clearance underneath actually more than my civic did. So if my stock wheels are 17's I should not have very many problems with 18's should

Altima's have a lot of clearance underneath actually more than my civic did. So if my stock wheels are 17's I should not have very many problems with 18's should I?
I want a normal ride, understandably it may be a little rougher with less tire. Had to give her a bath yesterday foam guns are a must for black cars
