Why, because you said "It's a bit lighter?" Since when does "light" and "balanced" mean the same thing? In fact, you said "It's basically a lighter ZR1". Wouldn't that imply that you meant exactly the opposite--that they had the same weight distribution?

You can have your own opinion, but don't go trying to have your own facts.

I know, I hate being proven wrong, too.

And it's pretty f***ing simple, honestly. Every f***ing person knows the goddamn Z06 is running less weight up front. I don't need to tell them something they already f***ing know.

But be a good Corvette owner and tell us anyways, even though we already know.

In fact, how does the Z06 stack up against a WS6 in a drag race? I am DYING TO KNOW.

But yet they need you to tell them that it weighs less, over-all, and also has less power?
Keep digging.

Z06 win and definitely not a ZR1 fail. The Z06 with the Z07 package is basically a lighter ZR1 with a bit less power. But these cars are to the point where the only way to really get them to go around the track quicker is to start adding downforce.

What exactly did I say that was wrong? Is the Z06 not lighter than the ZR1? That's the only way I'd be wrong.

m4a1mustang 06-26-2011 09:12 PM

It's OK, though. No worries. We all know your agenda.

You implied that weight was what mattered. However, the 100+ wtq #tq and horsepower easily overcomes the weight difference, and brake-fade is not an issue with the CC brakes. Balance is what makes up for that lack of horsepower because the Z06 can hit the corners harder, which makes up for the straights on THAT track. The 100-150# weight difference doesn't matter nearly as much as the balance. SO, all I was saying is that while it IS lighter, the difference in weight distribution is what does the trick. Then you said "I said that". No, you didn't. Anyone "with half a brain" can read your quote and see that you talked about DF, power, and weight. NOTHING about distribution.

Cool story, bro. It was implied.

Now I want the full run down of the Z06 vs. WS6. Tell me EVERYTHING.

Well, the Z06 is basically lighter with more power.

There. I said everything about it that there is to say now, right? The rest is implied and if you f**king have half a f**king brain you know that already, yes?:roflpuke2:

Yes. The Z06 has WS6 quarter panels.

at density=~0.9g/ml

silicone density=~0.96g/ml, but there are various density modifying substances that can be added, most that reduce the density. obviously part of the idea of a good silicone breast implant is to have similar density to fat, as that has a large affect on what it feels like and how it moves.

saline solutions range from 1.00g/ml (pure fresh water) to in the 1.02-1.03g/ml range (seawater). I don't know what the salinity of breast implants is, but it's almost defenitely between those two.

So, as far as I can tell from 10 minutes of research, most fake boobs are slightly denser than real boobs, and probably float a touch lower in the water. Newer, better silicone boobs (yes, they're back to silicone, because ti's supposed to look, feel, and move more naturally, and it turns out that the implant companies were right all along and it won't kill you if it leaks out) are probably very very close in density to real ones, and thus probably float right about the same.

Well the GT-R is way faster than the ZR1 around The Ring, as has been implied by the GM produced video. That's all that matters.

frost 06-26-2011 09:33 PM

I've heard it implied that the Z is for women and the vette is for old white dudes who never speed anyway.

I don't think the other implications make up for this implication, though.

In all seriousness, and it never ceases to piss me off so I mention it once more, the fastest in-car video I have seen on a public street was a cop driving his modded C5 to work touching 190 on a busy freeway. The guy stayed in it 130-190 for 5+ minutes. Ridiculous. My implication is that I hate those "rules for you, not for us" bastards.

Like nixon said, if the president does it, it's not illegal. Same for cops.
