i'll see if the local ford stealership will let me test drive one, just to see what all the hype is about.

If you can go about it with an open mind you'll like it. Test a car with the Brembo package and 3.55 or 3.73 gear, though.

The Brembo brake Mustangs stop quicker than the Z. Braking power is insane on this car. Handling is actually pretty close to the Z. The Z feels a lot softer than the Mustang and has much more understeer. The Mustang has a MUCH better balance but is not as precise or direct as the Z.

Basically, both cars achieve nearly identical results in handling and braking. They just go about it a little differently.

Maybe if Ford never brought the 5.0 out the Camaro would be a nice choice, but never in a million years is it a better choice anymore.
The Mustang beats it 99/100 times, and with the Boss we see it still has room to grow.
