The 1 year 260 was definitely the red headed step child of the lineage.
The '73 240Z was its closest relative - both had the crappy flat top SUs that you couldn't tune. If you want a carb'd car, go with a 70-72 240Z, or hold out for EFI in the 75+ 280Z models. The one good thing about a 260 is that it still had the nice looking thinner bumpers. |
