Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I liked to take a minute
Just sit right there

I am very happy the Stang will be able to lay that Camaro to rest. With 400 HP and at least less 200 pounds of weight, the Stang will be on top of the musclecar wars again!! GREAT for Ford!

Honestly.. the Stang should have had more power than the Z the whole time! The new Stang will not handle better than the Z still. Thus, the Z is still the handler while the Stang will be the straightliner. The more things change, the more they stay the same....

Can't wait to see the new Bullitt!!!

I think it will be interesting, not sure I'd lay money on the stang. Camaro comes with 426 (curb weight 3849) in the 2SS. Although I cant find any news on what the new tires will be, the camaro runs 275s in the rear. The latest stangs have been running skinnier than that, which would give the maro a slight advantage hooking up (if they remain with the skinnier tires).
Good to see both brands at it though, no matter who would win!

based on what? do you have any performance data or have you seen any performance tests that would back up such a ridiculously nonsensical claim?

a car with less horsepower, more mass, skinnier wheels and tires, weaker brakes and ancient suspension would blow the door off a more powerful lighter car with better wheels tires brakes and a modern advanced track tuned suspension. yep, makes lots of sense :bowrofl::roflpuke2:
