Chevy got Ford shook. Next gen mustang coming sooner than planned!
I can't see Chevy making the camaro dramatically outperform the Vette. They've been very careful on that in the past. They've neutered a lot of cars so as to not outshine their halo car.
I'm not sure how much Ford really cares about the camaro to be honest. The camaro has always outperformed the mustang, and they always sold a lot more mustangs than camaros. I can see them giving it a power bump and maybe a tweak to the bumpers, but they usually ride with a platform for decades with only minor tweaks along the way.
