When this car comes out people won't be cross shopping a BMW and a Hyundai, they'll be cross shopping a BMW and a Genesis. That's why they separated the brands in December.

You could try and argue that you're still just buying a Hyundai, but then you also have to agree that Lexus is just a Toyota, Audi is just a Volkswagen, and so on.
