Yep the stereo is way ahead of my G (and zillion miles better than my bare bone Z). The DSG is lovely too, manual shifts, especially downshifts, are again miles better than my G's 7at.

i dont have experience with the G's AT, but the GTI surpassed my expectations in all sorts of levels. the autobahn trim has basically everything one would want in a car as far as technology and convenience. the LED interior lighting is a real nice touch too. im happy with the car overall and its playful comical looks.

after driving my GTI, i hop into my STI with nav, keyless, and harmon stereo.. i notice how mediocre the interior quality and infotainment is in the STI.

but i luv my STI. thing is a blast to drive.
