Default Legal California Modifications?

Hello,

I recently got my Z 2017 model and I was wondering what are some California legal modifications I can make?

I just got the armytrix catback exhaust system and i was planning on getting the Takeda intake but realized it won't pass visual smog check for my 2017 model. They only have it for the 2009-2016 models unfortunately.
What would you guys recommend?

CB exhausts should not create problems.

Unless things have changed, cold air intakes didn't use to be an issue. I would check with Stillen and their cold air intake. Their mods are typically always CARB certified if needed.

Like the post above states, swapping any component of the exhaust system, sans the emissions parts, is usually acceptable. Cool air intakes and exhaust headers used to have a history of being hit-and-miss smog-wise, but it seems to be more common now that a lot of these parts are CARB-exempt. Just do your research before you buy.
