Could of very easily been me, but it wasn't thankfully. Was on I-5 from Tacoma to Centralia in the rain mess. Hydroplaning all over LOL!

The next ZCCW meeting is next Tuesday over at Performance Nissan in S.Everett, I'll be there, can't decide if I want to drive the Titan to show off some new treads though.

Saw another Monterrey Blue Z about half a mile from my home on Bothell-Everett highway, had to do a serious slam-on-brake-double-take to make sure it wasn't mine since I was in the Titan heading home from Costco! (it was recently bought, no front plate and temp tag)

Just checking in. I have a black touring/sport. I am in Issaquah (live on tiger mountain).
By the way, I don't hydroplane at all. I bit the bullet and swapped the OEM tires for Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus (at Sam's club in Renton). It made all the difference. Even in the recent heavy rain the car was as solid as it is on dry pavement. Given how much wet weather we get, it was a very good investment. Bob |

Wasn't me either ...
I'll probably be getting tires soon. I see that SeattleLion suggests : Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus Anyone else have tire suggestions for the Z? Last edited by atsnyde; 11-12-2010 at 03:47 AM. |
