Default CT Z Car Club Show, 9/5/14 North Haven, CT

RESCHEDULED TO THE RAIN DATE, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th

The Fifth Annual CTZCC Z Car Show is only about a week away: next Saturday, September 6th (rain date: September 7th) at Executive Nissan in North Haven, CT.

Executive Nissan is very conveniently located just off I-91, only a few miles north of I-95, at:
900 Universal Drive North
North Haven, CT 06473

Registration begins at 9am, voting runs from 11am to 1pm and trophies will be awarded starting at 2pm.

Visit the CT Z Car Club Website for more info: ctzcc.com

Scott Orsini and all the wonderful people at Executive Nissan are very excited to host our car show for the first time and are working hard to make it our best show ever. Because Executive has set aside a terrific, expansive space for our show, we're going to be able to line up all the registered Z's in a way we've never been able to before - it's going to be quite spectacular so bring your camera!

Even if your Z is a daily driver, you should definitely enter it in the competition. We'll have 13 different categories with trophies for 1st and 2nd place in each, for a total of 26 trophies, plus another for "Best in Show". All judging will be by "People's Choice", which means that not only will everyone attending get to vote, it also means that no one will inspect the cleanliness of your battery tray. It's a fun and low-key way to draw a lot of attention to your Z, share your Z's story with many, many fans and have a surprisingly good shot at bringing home a very impressive trophy.

To register your Z for the show, please download the show registration form found here: http://www.ctzcc.com/ShowRegistrationForm2014.pdf and bring it to the show along with the $20 entry fee. You'll receive a "goodie" bag filled with great stuff as well as a polo shirt commemorating the event.

Even if you will not be competing, you'll want to bring your family and friends along with you (admission is FREE). Everyone will enjoy viewing the massive collection covering almost every type of Z car and voting for their favorites. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, we'll have raffles, and much more. It's going to be an awesome day!

Hope to see you there,

Nice! I'm just curious as to why they put the 350 and 370 in one ccategory and the Z31 and Z32 in their own category ...??

As far as Z33 and Z34 sharing the same judging? I thought we were going to separate them out I'll talk to my fellow club leaders...especially since I now have a Z34. Any Z34 that enters should beat any Z33, don't you think?
Regardless, it is a good reason to get out and hang out with other Z fans. CT Z Car Club has a large 240Z-300ZX membership. I am starting to see more 370Z's. I had a 1993 300ZX previously.
