Oh yeah, that's no big deal. I don't care about mine scraping. The ones that actually scrape the most are the two side one by the wheels. They're hang sooo long to the ground.

its part of the super advanced 'steep driveway warning system' built into the sports package 370z. :bowrofl:

mjg 10-13-2011 05:45 PM

it was just me hitting the curb, but only the very bottom of the bumper... i guess i got pretty lucky, it's just the painted area directly underneath the bumper driver sides... i mean this happens now and then, just a bit annoying considering i had my car for 2 days and waited on it for 6 weeks! doh!

I do have to bring the Z back to have one thing looked at though, the driver side window window is a little loose, it makes a click sound every time the window automatically goes seals itself up when you open / close the door , I'm sure it's easy enough to fix, and whatever the glass is bolted into is just loose.

It sucks having OCD, i want the car to be perfect again. It's probably a huge PITA trying to align these windows up... They took them out when they redid the roof.

"racecar" is a palindrome, not race car... since a space is a character, and there is no symmetry since "race car" is a phrase, and racecar isn't a word ;)

I reject your reality, and substitute my own. Good day, sir! :tiphat: haha.

:( Looks like she's totalled. It looks like a lot of damage to the chassis judging by the door/rear deck & roof buckling.

AlphaSnacks 10-17-2011 10:03 AM

Oh crap...the airbags deployed. I'm going to say it's going to get totaled out.

Romulus1 10-17-2011 10:03 AM

Im goin over to my shop today to see what they think but i wont know for sure till later this week.

Yea....I'd say the same....So are you going to get a new Z or move onto another platform? lol

AlphaSnacks 10-17-2011 08:42 PM

Should we setup an official rain date for our meets? Like if it's guaranteed to rain on Wed, should we push it up to a Tues?

delusional 10-17-2011 09:21 PM

can't do tuesdays or thursdays :(

My shop seems to think its not totaled. They said theres no damage underneath or on the frame. Its pretty mych the fender door and quarther. The roof is dinged but not badly but thats about it. We'll see what happens later. Def stickin with the Z platform!

Maybe I missed it but how did you wind up in the trees over there? I drive this relatively straight road every day.

wouldn't it make more sense to do our rain date on thursday.... that way if it actually rains we'll know, instead of changing the date under the presumption that it will rain

AlphaSnacks 10-18-2011 02:31 PM

It would. I just usually have more time Tuesdays.

If Thursdays work better as a rain date, that's fine with me.
