Cop presence on Taconic parkway

Anyone travel much on the Taconic State Parkway that runs north through NY state? Will be road tripping it up to Boston err... at some point via this route and am wondering at the cop presence on the road, which is 55mph from what I hear.

Oh yes there are...blue and I would know this. Used to travel this road everyday. They have very good hiding spots...also MANY Deer around in the evening time.

oh crap I keep forgetting NY state troopers are in blue cars. Always throws me off looking for them on the roads. And yea, I heard about the overpasses they like to hide behind.

Yeah the dark blue cars sitting back in the woods is very difficult to spot.

Here is a poi for your GPS that will alert you via your GPS to 12 known speed traps on the Taconic State Parkway. This poi was made in 2008 but those trap locations are still valid
