My girl is like that, she turns the screen off when she drives it at night. Doesnt bother me though. Different folks...all that.

$90 for USB charging cable set? Are they flipping kidding me? Kick plates went up about $100 right? A 33% bump is kinda steep. And all those extra costs for paint. Who do they think they are, Porsche or BMW?

Dual racing stripe?!! Did I miss something?

Passion Red is now $1695? That's a huge price increase almost 2.5x. I paid $750 Canadian for mine.

Perhaps they are trying to lure Mustang owners away from Ford?

Yet another thing I'm not a fan of. Racing strips that is. Never seen a street car that didn't look better without them. JMO.

But hey, at least they are an option. Can you imagine if Nissan said if you want the white car it must come with red racing strips, AND charge more for like, like they are doing with the black roof.

Used C7 Z06 for $50k lol. Used versions of the C7 Z06 are still $70k to $80K.

Best bet for a C7 is a used C7 Grand Sport within the $45k to $55K range with less than 40k miles typically.

New Manual Supra tho.....:excited:

No doubt, if he hadn't pointed that out, I might've bought this car. :rofl2:

But $90 would kill my bank account, and paying extra for interior options that increased with material cost and inflation simply won't do. They better comp their 2009 price model or they'll never move one.

I shouldn't have to add the disclaimer that this is all said in sarcasm, but just in case my humor's a bit too dry for some. ;)

I spoke with a local Nissan dealership earlier today and even tho they don’t know when it’ll be released, the salesman said all Nissan Dealerships will have ONE on their lot but it’s basically a display only, no test drives. He is guessing around Fall for that one to be around. So, what’s the point in that? I seen it in person at the car show in February…totally stupid if you ask me, but I understand not everyone went to the car shows.

It’s a traffic generator helping to draw customers in and who will most likely buy an SUV that actually makes money for dealer and Nissan

If that's what your dealer wants to do, okay, its their call. Its not a Nissan thing, its a dealer thing. Just as there will be some dealers selling their cars over sticker, there will be others selling at or even below sticker. Each dealer will do it how ever they want. Much of it depends on allowcation. Some dealers will get 5 cars, while others will get none. Some will allow test drives, and some won't. All dealers decision, not Nissan.

We went through this entire process in 2005 when it came time to order my wife's Pontiac Solstice. Talk about a hot commodity. Much like when the C8 first came out. This new Z car will not have nearly the hype surrounding those 2 cars. My suggestion would be to wait until production year 2 and buy one then for 3 grand under sticker.
