ARK exhaust system effecting Warranty?

Will I lose my warranty if I install ARK Exhaust? Also does anyone know if that is illegal in state of VA?

§ 46.2-1049. Exhaust system in good working order.

No person shall drive and no owner of a vehicle shall permit or allow the operation of any such vehicle on a highway unless it is equipped with an exhaust system in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual levels of noise; provided however, that for motor vehicles, such exhaust system shall be of a type installed as standard factory equipment, or comparable to that designed for use on the particular vehicle as standard factory equipment. An exhaust system shall not be deemed to prevent excessive or unusual noise if it permits the escape of noise in excess of that permitted by the standard factory equipment exhaust system of private passenger motor vehicles or trucks of standard make.

The term "exhaust system," as used in this section, means all the parts of a vehicle through which the exhaust passes after leaving the engine block, including mufflers and other sound dissipative devices.

Chambered pipes are not an effective muffling device to prevent excessive or unusual noise, and any vehicle equipped with chambered pipes shall be deemed in violation of this section.

The provisions of this section shall not apply to converted electric vehicles.

(Code 1950, § 46-305; 1952, c. 455; 1956, c. 651; 1958, c. 541, § 46.1-301; 1960, c. 120; 1970, c. 266; 1972, c. 66; 1989, c. 727; 2006, cc. 529, 538; 2012, c. 177.)

I have very loud exhaust; Invidia Gemini + HFCs + headers. I think it is technically not legal when I mash the skinny pedal, but I have never been stopped. I think with just CBE, you'd not have to worry.

A straight CBE will not affect emissions. Test pipes, long tube headers and high flow cats obviously will.

I don't think it would affect the warranty.

SO a normal ARK exhaust wont fail like the below link:
Nissan 370Z | Burnt Tip 2009-ON | 3.7L, RWD

Also sorry if I am asking all these stupid question, I have no idea about any of these CBE or any mods. I just bought my 370z last week and its the 2nd car I have ever owned.

Not stupid, smart.

On a practical level I think you are fine. By the letter of the law, there is probably an incremental increase in the level of beautiful noise created by that badass exhaust. I can't imagine you getting pulled over unless you're jacking around WOT where you shouldn't be.

The Ark exhaust if not that loud. it is not as loud as the loud cheap muffler on honda civic that you see usually .
i am happy with the exhaust because the noise is not causing too much attention (buy a GT wings and finally have to leave it home cause i dont want to be pulled over and over )
