Fill Ups Taking Less and Less Gas

Noticed this problem starting about 2 months ago. Gradually taking less and less game to 'fill up' only put 14 1/2 gallons in tonight just as car started sputtering running out of gas. (I thought I was OK and something was off thinking if it only took 15 gallons to fill up as normal I had at least 2 gallons left when the fuel light miles to empty went to ----).
I don't have the lights not lighting up when the tank is full problem.
Am I having a different issue than the fuel sensor issues mentioned in other posts on here? Or a related one?
Take it to the dealer?

Actually my wife just noticed something similar..... she was at 2-3 dots left on the fuel gauge and only had to put 12-14 gallons in when it is usually around 16-17 :-/

Fuel filler stop valve. This happened on the 350Z as well. Get it changed.
