Default Tire warranty and wheel locks

Ok Guys I have two questions

1. Did anyone purchase the "road hazard" wheel and tire warranty or whatever it is from the factory. Can someone explain to me what the hell it covers and if it is worth it. My dealer wanted to charge me like 400 or 500 dollars for some kind of tire warranty or something

2. A manager from tires plus told me that my mcgards wheel locks are worthess and can easily be defeated. Mcgards has been in business for decades though. Does anyone else share the same opinion or was he full of s&%@

1. No

2. A seasoned thief can easily defeat wheel locks, typically with special lug removers; wheel locks will slow down a thief.

Road Hazard with Wheel protection
Tires
Road Hazard Tire Program repairs, or if, unrepariable , replaces tires damaged by road hazards. This includes tires, mounting, valve stems, balancing, and sales tax.

Wheels
In addition to the Tire Coverage, the Wheel Coverage provides for the repair or replacement of wheels damaged by road hazards.

Deluxe Plan is the only way to go
$40.00 allowance for each tire repaired
$5000.00 Lifetime limit for repairs or replacements

And there is an option for Towing and Roadside assistance.

This should be bought with any Z that has the sport package or aftermarket rims. I think it is a great program. 2 tires blown over 4 years, pays for itself, or 1 bent rim.

Hope that answers your questions.

Bought my 370z at Ancira Nissan in San Antonio, Texas and got there tire and wheel package for $500.00. I showed them a scratch on my front driver wheel today, which is very close to the center of the rim (Not a curb job) probably caused by a rock. Well they said the tire and wheel package does not cover scratches caused by road hazards. So what the hell did I pay 500.00 for, they said if the tires get a nail or the rim bends or breaks. But they only replace a bent rim if the tire will not hold air, in other words if you have a taco'd rim and it still holds air your not covered. What a RIP OFF!

After this I went straight to Finance and Cancel the Extended Warranty that I should never had purchased. They are applying the $2077.00 to my loan, cool $2,077.00 less I owe for the Car! But they will not refund the $500.00.
