Does The 2010 370Z Comes With HID?
I was looking to buy an HID kit for my Z but I was wondering if all I need is to change the bulb or buy the whole kit.

I Got the sport pkg, if it matters.

Yes all 370z's have HID's. What your seeing is the HID bulb warm up which will look blue for a few seconds. From a distance the color of the headlights do have a blue tint to them stock. If you want to enhance that color I would suggest opening the headlights and installing a clear lens. This will allow a sharper cut off and give you more blue and purple. Changing out the bulb to a higher Kelvin rating will give you more color but the higher you go the more you lose visibility.

you cant change to 6000K without losing visibility. It may look bright when you look at them, but they dont shine as brightly down the road...

the 370z comes with HIDs but they look rather yellowish. I upgraded to 6500k and im very happy with the results

You can try to use 6,000k 55 watt bulbs and ballasts and will get an increase in light output. In my opinion, the stock headlamps are pretty good.

well yea, i didnt think the OP was thinking of getting new ballasts...
and yes, i agree. I have no problems with the factory headlamps or bulbs. To be honest, I think the whole blue headlight effect is being played out very quickly...

IMO quality clear lenses give a more exotic look vs just adding a higher kelvin rated bulb...
