Pure-One. I was using K&N, but I saw some "bad" things about those.

Opps.... maybe I shouldn't have said that about the K&N. Here come the flames...

I like this one too. Mobil 1 Extended Performance I think is the official name. I buy the GT-R part as it is a little longer but the same diameter.

Purolater Oil Filter PL-14610
Noticeably longer/larger than stock.

Also using Purolator PureOne PL14610. After seeing just how tiny the factory filter is I'm glad the longer PL14610 is available, even though it is still tiny.

That is the filter spec'd for the GT-R, whatever brand people go with just get the GT-R filter for the extra filtration area (plus I hear it adds up to 170 hp).

Planning on using the longer PL14610 with my first oil change. Same filter I use on the Frontier! I stocked up when they were on sale with rebate from Amazon.

I just re-read your post and looked up your filter. I never heard it of prior but since it's NISMO I just might have to start using it

Buy Purolator PureONE Oil Filter PL14612 at Advance Auto Parts

On sale for $5.00, however they are recommending the PL 14612 not the PL 14610. What is the difference between the two? Will the PL14610 also work with the G37's? (My wife's car).

Thanks!
