No recall for 2011s. There was a recall for previous year Z's and other models, but not a 2011 370Z.
Now I have another problem - the windows go down by themselves when the car is off! It may take 10, 20, or 40 minutes or longer. Doesn't do it all the time either. I've been lucky that all the nights (3) that it has done it it hasn't snowed or rained. |
Anybody Ever Figure Out "How To" Add A Battery Switch On/Off
Like NASCAR Has In Their Cars - Switch Battery On - Push Start And Eliminate This FOB All Together?? :icon18: Always Keep My FOB In The Port Already!! Kinda Like "Pulling The Fuse" In Roadsters I Don't Want To Deal With More Crap As My Z Gets Older |
Dumping it
I've had it with this car. Even more I've had it with Nissan. It's
$140 to walk in the door for their diagnostic test ( quite the rip off) and another 3.5% padded onto the bill uner "Haz mat" charge. They call it "haz mat" even though it has nothing to do with it. It's to pad their bill and nothing else. So the car is being picked up in two days by Carvana and I will NEVER buy a Nissan again. My thanks to everyone on the forum for their help, it was much appreciated. John |
So I have the Key warning light on too now. I have removed to steering lock fuse many years ago. The car starts and runs perfectly normal no different from any other day just for the light. I have 3 key fobs though I lost one and had to replace it only to find the other later. I replaced the batteries in all 3 and the light persists, some times it does go out but it comes back again. Put a volt meter to the batteries and they all register 3.0V. I can plug the key into the car and the light still persists. Maybe I got a bad batch of batteries but can it be anything else?
