Default Found Oil in Spark Plug Chamber

Hey guys, I was replacing my spark plugs after 140k miles on it, and they didn't even look that bad to tell you the truth

Anyway, I found the one closest to the firewall on the driver's side was filled with oil. Talked to my mechanic and he said I need to get a gasket valve cover. Can anyone confirm for me that this will fix the leak?

Went on here and look it up and this is what my options are.

I have 2009, M6 Touring.

Yeah I'm trying to replace everything right now, do you mind being a little more descriptive or maybe on the part number? I'm still learning Which are the gaskets and plugs that I need to buy

When you say plug did you mean the Ignition Coil packs?

I think valve cover gasket set is what you need. It should include gasket for the valve cover and round seals for each of the spark plugs holes. The round spark plug seal is likely to cause the oil leak.

You can get it from any Nissan/Infinite dealers.

You shouldn't need to change the coil packs unless they are bad.

Nice thanks I was just a little confused with the terminology being used at first but that makes sense. I'm used to talking to mechanics in Spanish and get used to that, when trying to translate it into English and then everyone has their own way of talking about certain things it makes it great fun
