It looks very odd. I never noticed that in any pics before but it stands out pretty bad in person!

Do keep in mind that it does stand out more in the pic above since it's contrasted against the transport tape that is put on the car for shipment...it doesn't stand out quite as bad without the tape since the base of the antenna is body color and the "stalk" is black which will likely stand out less with darker color vehicles.
That said, the antenna still isn't very attractive IMHO and if anyone wants to put a significant spoiler on the rear deck the antenna may well be in the way.
