Ok, long story short. I took it to the dealer to see if this would be covered under warrenty. They did diagnostics to the soft top, etc... and then end

Ok, long story short.
I took it to the dealer to see if this would be covered under warrenty. They did diagnostics to the soft top, etc... and then end up telling me that it isn't and the cover is not required. They said, it would not affect the soft top's function. Though I agree, I dislike the fact that, this was all they could give me. I can see it is there for a reason, and that is to protect the wires/mechanical parts when the top is down. It could prevent dusts, debris, etc.. to get in when driving. So, now I can either purchase the part and replace the whole trim myself, or find a DIY method. Any ideas? |
