Gas Cap Fails to Click When Closing

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Gas cap has never been over-tightened but now refuses to close properly - no click.

Nope but I went and bought a Stant gas cap. Had it on my '09 coupe and now on my roadster. It's never thrown a code. Love it!

Nissan needs to step up a get a new gas tank on certain Mercs and Beamers with no gas cap. I go to the gas station and the attendant opens my cap had drops it on the body and have some gas on my paint. This is the one time I don't like full service gas stations.
